Executive Director, Rev. Ernestine Winfrey, passed away after a long, difficult battle with cancer on December 15, 2019.

 

Ernestine became the 3rd Executive Director of Good News home in 1997. In the following 22 years, she served nearly 700 residents – assisting them to break their chains of addiction. Her passion to see women find the life that God intended for them was unparalleled. Her legacy is one of love - love for her family, friends, co-workers and the residents of Good News Home.

 

Our hearts are broken, but we know that she is now at peace, is pain-free, and is walking alongside her Heavenly Father. We love you and miss you, Ms. E!
